Our products are made with fresh local fruits obtained from small farms in Virginia and North Carolina when available. All our products are low in sugar* - using pure cane sugar, not corn syrup! *Pepper Jellies excluded Each hand-made batch of jam starts with freshly picked, sun ripened produce. Followed with just enough pure care sugar to enhance the natural sweet flavor of the fruit. We use only 20% sugar compared to the average 65% sugar used by other companies. We use lemon juice in place of chemically contrived acids and a citrus-based pectin completes our jams. Excluded from our jams are any additives, preservatives, or water. Our recipes preserve a “just-picked” flavor and their freshness is beyond compare!
